Akbar is the undisputed 170 lb champion in mexico. Akbar holds the 170lb title in Mexico City and just won the title 2 weeks ago in TJ to become the undisputed champ.
His last loss was to Toby Imada back in 2005. Since then has yet to lose under his trainer Raul Arvizu who is a brown belt under Dean Lister.
Akbar has been tested by the some of the best fighters in the world. Such as a draw back in 2005 to IFL veteran Antonio "Mandingo" McKee. He has also faced UFC fighters like Gabe Ruediger and won by submission in the 1st round.
